Note! Once you unlock your Secure Element, the chain of trust is broken, and your Secure Element will NOT BE TRUSTED any more. Not ever. All unlocked phones have exactly same 3DES keys. Please read details at Forum Nokia Wiki - Nokia 6131 NFC - FAQs. Unlocking will be done as service to each SE Developer version phone. Delivery includes 3DES keys. Unlocking allows to install Applets on secure element to e.g. use ISO 14443-4 protocol to communicate with NFC Encoder. NFC Encoder reader device can be used for installing JavaCard Applets into Secure Element on compatible NFC phone. The compatibity is tested with NFC Encoder reader device (NFCENC-USB-1.0.01), JCOP Tools and Nokia 6131 NFC - SE Developer version mobile phone using Windows Vista operating system. Nokia is expected to later publish Secure Element unlocking tool for publich distribution allowing the unlocking by-self. The publishing, date and possible charge for this tool are not confirmed. Limited warranty: No warranty does cover any such damages that may have caused by limited Secure Element related experience, such as (but not limited to) lack of experience on using JCOP or other developer tools, lack of information on accessing the Secure Element or installation of Applets on Secure Element. Limited support: By offereing the Nokia 6131 NFC Se Developer version RFID360 do not promise to offer techical support for Secure Element related development issues. The customer is responsible for acquiring any required technical information for Secure Element & Applet development activities. Warning!: After 10 unsuccesful attempts to authenticate Secure Element it will be blocked permanently. |
