The durable XERAFY tag-construction can survive temperatures of up to 480˚ F and is unrivalled in performance for its size. The patented RF antenna design provides a superior performance-to-size ratio allowing manufacturing, IT and industrial customers to embed in metals or attach XERAFY tags to small metallic assets that have been too challenging to track in the past or where space is limited. Unlike standard UHF RFID labels and barcodes, XERAFY tags work in all types of environments: water, dirt and high temperature.

The Pico-iN is the smallest RFID-in-metal tag in the XERAFY family of "iN" products. The Pico-iN can fit into the head of a bolt to RFID enable any aviation, automotive, manufacturing equipment or process. The small size of the Pico-iN enables a permanent identification capability for very small metal assets, that even a barcode couldn’t fit. Since there is no way to remove the RFID chip without destroying the product, the embed-in-metal technology is the most reliablesolution to prevent counterfeiting and tampering.

The Nano-iN offers an outstanding performance-to-size ratio of up to 8 feet while flush mounted ina metal object. The Nano-iN can be a potential substitute to Read-on-Metal tags even in applications where read distance cannot be compromised such as IT assets and metallic equipment. The flush mounting of RFID tags makes them visible to RFID-based inventory systems immediately upon installation, and the RFID tags are protected from the possibility of damage.
